Exclusive Screening of Spiderman 3 The first two Spiderman movies were box-office hits around the world, so the buzz in the run-up to the release of Spiderman 3 was immense. Posters featuring Spiderman in black suit were splashed across the city and rumors were rife that our web-throwing hero would undergo a major personality change. Anticipation among fans was reaching fever pitch. Finally, the mega-movie Spiderman 3 was released globally in May. Zung Fu picked up on the movie's appeal, and invited 1,000 Mercedes-Benz owners to experience the thrill of the film at special showings at UA Time Square in Causeway Bay on May 11-13. In Spiderman 3, Spiderman (Tobey Maguire) is taken control by a strange alien substance, which turns his suit from red to black and gives him stronger power. The substance also appears to bring out the dark side of his personality, especially his desire for revenge. Spiderman is left having to choose between being a hero or someone more sinister yet with seductive power. Meanwhile, he faces tough enemies - the villain Venom (Topher Grace), Harry (James Franco), a once good friend who wants revenge for his father, and Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), his uncle who has even stronger powers than Spiderman. Adding to the excitement is a love plot between his ex-girlfriend, Mary Jane (Kristen Dunst) and new love, Gwen Stacy (Bryce Dallas Howard). Personal demons, vengeance, romance and forgiveness intermingle to make the film a very exciting ride and one which the Zung Fu customers who attended the screenings all enjoyed. click to enlarge
